Exclusive Review Most Awaited Web Series – Bebaakee

Finally, the long-awaited Romantic Drama Web Series – #Bebaakee is released on my favorite OTT platform ZEE5. Kushal Tandon, Shiv Jyoti Rajput, and Karan Jotwani starter #Bebaakee on ZEE5 is one of the extravagant series that I have seen so far. So, here is my Exclusive Review: Most Awaited Web Series – Bebaakee

An Overview

When it comes to indoor sets and affluence, it gives the feel of a big-budget movie. The setup shows two old friends and media Moghuls (Mohit Chauhan and Sameer Malhotra) living together like a family in the same house along with their wives and sons (Kushal Tandon and Karan Jotwani). Both the seniors are leading semi-retired life.

This is a complete family drama cum romantic (love triangle) drama, which revolves around the leading lady Shiv Jyoti Rajput. She is playing her role as a media reporter.

There are 10 episodes, each of about 20 mins. Luckily, it isn’t in the soap opera style and ends up in 10 beautifully presented episodes. Therefore the code of an upmarket web series is well-maintained.

About the Characters

While Kushal Tandon, Shiv Jyoti Rajput, and Karan Jotwani take the leading places, glimpses of Mohit Chauhan and Sameer Malhotra (fathers of Kushal and Karan), Suchitra Pillai, Indraneel Bhattacharya, Saloni Vora, Krutika Desai, Pratik Sehajpal, Pubali Sanyal, Aditi Vats, and Ishaan Dhawan can be seen in supporting roles.

This is a debut series of Shiv Jyoti Rajput. This pretty girl had made sure that she leaves a good imprint in her very first appearance while playing her role against the established stars like Kushal Tondon. She is confident & good-looking and approaches her part with a good understanding.

One the other hand Kushal plays the gloomy part, as it is required.

The Storyline

The two handsome leads Kushal (Sufiyaan) and (Karan) Imtiyaz are two best friends who fall in love with the same girl, Kainaat (Shiv Jyoti). Sufiyaan gets attracted to Kainaat after the two get off on the wrong foot. Although the two men were best buddies, but when love came in-between, their lifelong friendship takes a turn into abhorrence and hatred.

Although there is nothing very new in the drama series #bebaakee. Sophistication, opulence, dialog delivery can hold you to watch the series until the end.

What I liked most in the series is the song ‘Intehaan’ which is one of the best things about the series. You can relate the music of the song with the sound in Vikram Bhatt’s movies and series. It plays on with the kind of mood that is on display. There are few more romantic numbers like “Rabba Khair Kare” and “Galliyaan”.

Other than that, few dialogs are like a hick – #DilKiHitchki. “Bebaak Mohabbat aakhir kya hoti hai? “, “Woh Ishq hi kya jismein paagalpan na ho…”, voh Pyaar hi kya jo bebaak na ho, which will make you fall in love with the romantic couple.

Wrapping Up on Review: Bebaakee

In recent months ZEE5 has released several thriller web series and movies in regional as well as Hindi languages. It is good to see ZEE5 (in association with ALT Balaji) to bring a web Romantic family drama. Bebaakee is loaded with drama, romance, friendship, and emotions which shouldn’t be missed.

For me, ZEE5 has been the greatest source of entertainment, during the phase of the global pandemic. I enjoyed watching even regional movies such as Dany and many more. Nevertheless, #Bebaakee is an interesting changeover, after watching several thrillers back to back.

#Bebaakee is streaming now on #ZEE5Club. This weekend, just binge-watch all the episodes of the series and fall in love with it.
